Each Double Stacked Taco consists a crunchy taco shell filled with seasoned beef, lettuce, and shredded cheese cheese, nestled in a soft flour tortilla held together by a layer of warm nacho cheese between the two.
The value-priced tacos come in three varieties: Nacho Crunch, new Chipotle Cheddar, and new Reaper Ranch. Nacho Crunch adds red tortilla strips to the filling. Chipotle Cheddar adds Creamy Chipotle sauce inside the taco, while Reaper Ranch adds Reaper Ranch sauce instead.
The Double Stacked Tacos are available a la carte or as part of a $5 Chalupa Box that includes one Double Stacked Taco, one Chalupa Supreme, one crunchy taco, and a medium fountain drink.
Double Stacked Tacos were first introduced at Taco Bell back in 2016. Back then they came in Nacho Crunch, Cool Habanero, and Spicy Sweet varieties. The three upcoming flavors were tested earlier this summer.
