IHOP to Launch Flip'd by IHOP Fast-Casual Restaurant

IHOP looks to offer "freshly-made breakfast foods and beverages with speed and convenience" targeting "densely populated city centers" with the planned launch of new fast-casual concept Flip'd by IHOP.

The first location is slated to open in Atlanta in April 2020 and they're looking into locations in New York City, Washington D.C., Denver, and San Francisco.

The menu includes popular IHOP dishes as well as some new menu items. Here's some of the items that look to be on the Flip'd menu:

- A Build Your Own Pancake Bar with a choice of pancakes or oatmeal as a base and a variety of mix-ins and toppings from the Top It Off bar, such as: fresh blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple; fruit compotes; chocolate chips; caramel sauce; and more.

- Pancake Bowls with made-to-order pancakes served in a bowl with toppings such as fresh berries, sauces, scrambled eggs, hickory-smoked bacon, and Jack and cheddar cheeses.

- Egg combos with choice of breakfast meats and an assortment of egg sandwiches made with two scrambled eggs and various toppings on a toasted Brioche bun.

- A variety of made-to-order breakfast burritos and bowls with options like the Bacon Temptation with two eggs, hickory-smoked bacon, roasted tomatoes and queso over crispy breakfast potatoes, and The Garden with baby arugula, sauteed mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, and avocado cream sauce over crispy breakfast potatoes.

- Ultimate Sandwiches with choice of an all-natural Black Angus Steakburger, Buttermilk Crispy Chicken, or grilled chicken breast.

- Fresh-squeezed orange juice, Signature Coffee Brews, including Nitro and specialty espresso beverages.

- Grab-and-go salads and wraps, fresh-baked goods, and more.

Rather than the traditional IHOP sit-down service, at Flip'd, you can order from a digital kiosk, at the counter, or online (with a dedicated pick-up area as well as available delivery). They'll also be catering available for office events and whatnot given the downtown target market.
