Panda Express' Spicy Wagyu Beef Dumpling features five 100% Wagyu beef dumplings, wok-tossed with kale and onions in a sweet and spicy sauce that gets an extra kick from Fly By Jing’s Zhong sauce. The dumplings marks the first time that Panda Express has added Wagyu beef to the menu.
Fly By Jing produces various Chinese sauces and describes their Zhong sauce as "a concoction of aromatic "fuzhi" soy sauce, slow-brewed with brown sugar, mushrooms, garlic, and a blend of spices. It’s sweet, tangy, spicy, and umami-rich all at once."
Spicy Wagyu Beef Dumplings can be found on the menu at the Panda Express Innovation Kitchen in Pasadena, CA for a limited time through June 1, 2023. The chain does not currently offer dumplings on the national menu.
