Lean Cuisine Introduces Four New Diabetic-Friendly Balance Bowls

Lean Cuisine introduces four new varieties to their Balance Bowl line that meet the nutrition guidelines for the American Diabetes Association's Better Choices for Life program.

Each of the four new frozen entrees contain 400 calories or less, a serving of vegetables, and zero grams of added sugar.

According to Lean Cuisine, the Balance Bowl varieties "are the perfect option for those with diabetes, those that may be at-risk for diabetes, or anyone that's just interested in a nutritious and tasty meal."

At four new diabetic-friendly options include:

- Tex-Mex Rice & Black Beans - Whole-grain brown rice, black beans, corn, and peppers in a spicy enchilada sauce.

- Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry - Lemon garlic shrimp with red peppers, carrots, and broccoli over brown rice.

- Roasted Eggplant Parmesan Pasta - Roasted eggplant with parmesan and whole-grain pasta in a tomato basil sauce.

- Creamy Pasta Primavera - Broccoli florets, tomato, spinach, and whole-grain pasta in a creamy lemon basil parmesan sauce.

All four new varieties of Lean Cuisine Balance Bowls will be available at select retailers nationwide starting this month for a suggested price of $4.49.
