McDonald's Tests New Grand McChicken

McDonald's tests a new McChicken with a larger, wider chicken patty called the "Grand McChicken" in several markets including in the Reno, NV area as well as in the Bakersfield, Chico, Fresno, and Sacramento areas in California.

Beyond the larger breaded chicken patty, the Grand McChicken appears to include the same shredded lettuce, mayo, and toasted plain bun as a regular McChicken.

As one location in Reno, the Grand McChicken is priced at $4.69, while a regular McChicken is $3.39 and a McCrispy chicken sandwich (which comes with a chicken filet rather than a chicken patty) is $4.89

The Grand McChicken takes a similar tack as the Grand Mac, which was a larger, wider version of a Big Mac (although the Grand Mac also came with a wider bun).
