Chocolate cookies never taste chocolate-y enough for me and Chips Ahoy! Chewy Gooey Megafudge cookies are no exception. The chocolate flavor is just not as good as just having actual chocolate. I guess it is kinda like a brownie though; it's soft and really sweet.
The cookie tastes pretty much the same throughout, even with the white chocolate chips and gooey center. The fudge center is a little more chocolaty than the rest and is pretty good with a smooth texture.
Overall, I think I'd rather have the chocolate chip cookie version of the same; it seems like it'd offer more variety and chocolate cookies are just a blurry mirror image of real chocolate for me.
