Review: Jack in the Box - Pumpkin Pie Shake

Jack in the Box's Pumpkin Pie Shake is a seasonal holiday menu item and features vanilla ice cream blended with pumpkin pie syrup finished with whipped topping and a maraschino cherry.

I picked up a regular 16-ounce shake for $2.69.

This is like the pumpkin pie shake for people who don't really like pumpkin pie. There are hints of pumpkin pie flavor but nothing definitive like at Sonic or Dairy Queen. And, it doesn't have the bells and whistles like bits of pie crust or a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.
Still, it's pretty easy to drink like the vanilla shake with pumpkin pie syrup that it is. It's not going to blow your socks off or satisfy like a slice of pumpkin pie but it's not bad at all.

I guess it might put you in the holiday spirit but only a little bit.

  1. I'm too drunk/tired to really understand what you're talking about. At least completely. But it sounds oddly epic. So cheers to that!

Moderation in all things the supposed wise chap residing in the cave atop the mountain informed the low-lander who scaled the height seeking enlightenment.

I have no idea how my post relates to anything much within the review but writing this filled a few idle moments within my shanty atop the Ozark Plateau where nobody ascends to obtain/attain enlightenment from a Disgruntled Old Coot residing in a shanty with several walls plastered with stapled-on moving blankets to act as a noise and thermal barrier; assisting in isolating the Old Guy from the exterior environments; social and meteorological.
