McDonald's New Mozzarella Sticks Have Arrived

McDonald's has been quietly rolling out their new Mozzarella Sticks this month. The new side comes in orders of three for a buck (may vary), with marinara sauce for dipping.

McDonald's Mozzarella Sticks consist of sticks of mozzarella cheese breaded with wheat flour as well as onion, garlic, and a pinch of salt.

They're already being served in some locations across the U.S. (and if you live in New York, where they were initially trialed, you've had them for a year or so) I checked out my local McDonald's and was told they'd arrive here in Southern California starting next week.

The plan is serve Mozzarella Sticks nationally so if you haven't seen them in your area yet, be on the lookout for them in early 2016.

Mozzarella sticks aren't exactly new to the fast food arena; chains such as Arby's and Sonic have been offering them for years. But then again, there are more McDonald's restaurants than both Arby's and Sonic combined here in the U.S.
