The limited-time shake features vanilla frozen custard blended with black sesame seeds.
The release marks the first time that the shake is being offered chainwide here in the States but not the first time it has appeared--back in February, it was being sold at their West Village "innovation kitchen" location in New York City, where they test some of their future menu items.
Apparently, the Shake Shack is also looking into bringing other international shakes back home. They're asking fans to tweet them @shackshack on whether they'd like to see the Ube Shake from the Philippines (vanilla frozen custard blended with ube, a purple yam) or the Horchata Shake from Mexico City (vanilla frozen custard blended with horchata, topped with whipped cream and crushed obleas--a type of Mexican wafer cookies).
