The test marks the first time that any brand is offering Halo Top low-calorie, high-protein ice cream as the base for a milkshake.
The exclusive shakes will come in three flavors: Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, and Strawberry. As a better-for-you milkshake option, each shake contains 350 calories or less, at least 20 grams of protein, and 30% of the recommended daily amount of calcium.
The test will encompass almost 1,000 participating Subway locations in the following areas: Colorado Springs, Colorado; Hartford, Connecticut; Longview and Tyler, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; Toledo, Ohio; and West Palm Beach, Florida. The test will run through September 4, 2019.
