The Ultimate BBQ KFC Chicken Sandwich is meant to offer "all the craveable flavors of a summer cookout" and features an Extra Crispy, white-meat chicken filet served with Honey BBQ sauce, crispy-fried onions, hickory-smoked bacon, melted cheese, and pickles on a premium brioche bun.
The Spicy Slaw Chicken Sandwich consists of an Extra Crispy, white-meat chicken filet served with the chain's signature coleslaw, spicy mayo, and pickles on a premium brioche bun.
Participating restaurants in the Tampa area are only serving either the Ultimate BBQ or Spicy Slaw chicken sandwiches but not both. You can find out which locations are offering which sandwich on the KFC website.
While the Spicy Slaw Chicken Sandwich is just the chain's current Spicy Chicken Sandwich with the addition of coleslaw, the BBQ KFC Chicken Sandwich adds a few ingredients that aren't normally stocked at KFC restaurants. If it makes it out of test, you would be able to find crispy-fried onions, bacon, and cheese at most KFC locations, which means you might be able to finagle your way into a Double Down.
