Starbucks New Oleato Combines Coffee and Olive Oil

Starbucks combines a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil with their coffee for their new Oleato beverage menu., which is available now in Italy but will arrive in Southern California this spring.

According to Starbucks, they the addition of Partanna cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil results in "a velvety smooth, rich texture, with the buttery, round flavors imparted by the olive oil perfectly pairing with the soft, chocolatey notes of the coffee.” 

The Starbucks Oleato menu includes the following options:

- Oleato Caffe Latte - Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast mixed with Partanna extra virgin olive oil and steamed with oat milk.

- Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew -  Partanna extra virgin olive oil-infused cold foam served over cold-brew coffee.

- Oleato Iced Shaken Espresso - Hazelnut syrup, espresso, and oat milk infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil.  

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milan also a slightly different menu that includes:

Oleato Caffe Latte - Starbucks Reserve Espresso and oat milk infused with Partanna extra-virgin olive oil.

- Oleato Iced Cortado - Starbucks Reserve Espresso, demerara syrup, and a dash of orange bitters and oatmilk is infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil. It is then served over ice and finished with an orange peel.  

- Oleato Deconstructed - Starbucks Reserve Espresso and Partanna extra virgin olive oil infused with a passionfruit cold foam.

- Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew - Starbucks Reserve Cold Brew lightly sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with Partanna extra virgin olive oil-infused cold foam.

- Oleato Golden Foam Espresso Martini - Starbucks Reserve Espresso, vodka, and vanilla bean syrup topped with golden foam (a combination of sweet cream and Partanna extra virgin olive oil). 

In select markets, you'll also be able to add a spoonful of Partanna extra virgin olive oil and or Golden Foam to select beverages if you so choose.
