While salt & vinegar is more commonly associated with potato chips, it's not unusual as far as flavored nuts go.
According to Planters, its team sought input from consumers and industry experts in determining the new flavor. The new flavor joins a line that includes Rosemary & Sea Salt Cashews, Cinnamon Brown Sugar Cashews, and Dill Pickle Cashews. Apple Cider Donut Cashews were also offered for a limited time in the fall of 2024.
