Starbucks Offers New Pairings Value Menu Starting at $5

Starbucks new Pairings Value Menu.
Starbucks introduces the coffee chain's take on a value menu with the debut of the new, limited-time Pairings value menu at participating locations.

The deal offers a Tall (12-oz) iced tea or coffee paired with a butter croissant or breakfast sandwich with prices starting at $5.

The Tall iced tea or coffee with a butter croissant is $5 but you can opt for a larger-sized brewed tea or coffee for an extra charge.

The Tall iced tea or coffee with a breakfast sandwich is $6 but will cost $7 if you opt for the Double Smoked Bacon or Impossible breakfast sandwich.

At my nearest Starbucks here in Los Angeles, a butter croissant is normally $4.25 and an iced coffee is also $4.25. The "Pairings Discount" on the two comes out to $3.50, which is a little over a 40% discount.

When ordering online, you have to add the two items to your shopping cart to see the discount applied in the checkout tab.

You can expect to see more such value offers from fast-food chains in the near term due to decreased consumer demand caused by higher prices.
