Carl's Jr. Now Serves Its Chicken Sandwiches on Sourdough Bread

Carl's Jr. Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich.
In an odd bit of a switch, Carl's Jr. now serves almost all of its charbroiled and hand-breaded chicken sandwiches on toasted sourdough bread instead of a bun. The only exception is the value-priced Spicy Chicken Sandwich.

Items now served on sourdough include:

- Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich (pictured)

- Hand-Breaded Bacon Swiss Chicken Sandwich

- Charbroiled Chicken Club Sandwich

- Charbroiled Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich

- Charbroiled BBQ Chicken Sandwich

Given that fast food sourdough tends not to be sour, the switch amounts to serving its chicken sandwiches on toast.
