I got one for $5 during lunch time (the price goes up to $6.99 after 5PM). I also reviewed the Nashville Hot Chicken one earlier.
The Crafted Flatzz is about twice the size of a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza, but a good deal thinner (and less greasy) with a hand-stretched oval crust. It was somewhat football-shaped, which is fitting for the season, I suppose. It was very crispy on the surface while maintaining a soft crumb inside.
The pizza was cut into eight two-bite (or one big bite) slices with one small popcorn chicken-esque crispy chicken piece per slice.
The mozzarella was nicely melted, but the underlying Ultimate Ranch just tasted like your run-of-the-mill ranch to me. Between the two, there was a moderate creaminess and a herby tang throughout the pizza. The parmesan oregano didn't make much of an impact.
The bacon was a little sparse here, and I could have used a little more to cut against the strong ranch flavor. I feel like it's one of those "your mileage may vary" things, though.
Overall, Pizza Hut's Chicken Bacon Ranch Crafted Flatzz is nice for the price and crust, but leans too heavily on ranch as its primary flavor driver. Typically, when something is called "chicken bacon ranch," it's mostly chicken, then bacon, then ranch. This was more like "ranch chicken bacon." I would definitely choose the Nashville Hot Chicken Crafted Flatzz over it.
