The new flavor features buttermilk pancakes filled with cinnamon streusel, layered with cinnamon spread, and topped with cream cheese icing, more streusel, and whipped topping.
Prices vary, but a short stack (two pancakes) costs $9.49 at my local IHOP in Los Angeles, while a full stack (four pancakes) costs $13.99. A short stack is also available as part of a breakfast combo that also includes two eggs, two strips of bacon or pork sausage links, and hash browns for $17.49.
The "Spotlight Stack" is what IHOP is now calling its limited-time pancake flavors. Previously, the chain was going with "Pancake of the Month," which probably made it harder to keep a popular flavor around longer than a month.
The diner chain is also serving limited-time Pumpkin Spice Pancakes for the fall.
