Like most fast food salads, this Chargrilled Chicken Cool Wrap is not made-to-order but is rather made at some point in the day (I would guess morning) and then refrigerated until ordered.
While I would prefer something made-to-order, especially for $5.35, the salad vegetables inside the Cool Wrap were fresh and crisp. The wrap is a good size and can be easily split between two light eaters.
The spicy dressing is a creamy dressing with a fair amount of heat and a note of mustard. It's given on the side so you can use as much, or as little as you like.
For the most part, every ingredient held it own, was well-blended, and was tangible within the wrap. I did start running out of chicken at the tail end though.
Not to worry, I just stuffed a Chicken Nugget inside to make up for the deficiency.
Overall, the Chargrilled Chicken Cool Wrap is a quality salad wrap. It's not my normal cup of tea for fast food since it's a cold dish and you can make a reasonable facsimile at home without too much fuss. Still, it's fresh and tasty and a worthy option for fast food salad eaters.
Occasionally, Chick-fil-A will run a promotion (complete with celebration and cows) where whatever items you buy on that day, you can get again for free within the next month by bringing back your receipt. I happened to go on one of those days and will be getting my free Cool Wrap on in the near future.

I've never tried these, but I've had the Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich a few times before. You should try it, it's awesome!
ReplyDeleteI agree they are expensive, but these are some of the best constructed wraps around..and like everything chick fil a: tasty.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you there. I'd still rather get their Chicken Sandwich or something equally more fattening though ;p
ReplyDeleteBleh, my undergrad (and grad for that matter) only had crappy cafeteria vendors. I ended up using most of my meal plan on Fruitopia (I don't think they make that anymore).
ReplyDeleteI used to eat this all the time at the Chick-fil-A in my college's student union. Oh the benefits of having a meal plan...
