Review: Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich

Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich
Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich is like the Homestyle Chicken Fillet Sandwich but spicy. It sells for the same $3.99 and has the same lettuce, mayo, and tomatoes on a kaiser bun.

Of the two, I prefer the Spicy Chicken Sandwich; it has a little more flavor with the peppery spices and the nice, light heat to it. The patty is a sizable chicken breast and is fried-chicken-like and fairly crispy usually. It isn't always as juicy as it could be; maybe it sits in the warmer too long.

Other than that, the lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo are all pretty standard. The bun is squishy soft and flecked with yellow corn meal.

  4. I prefer Jack in the Box's "Jack's Spicy Chicken" to Wendy's, however I do think Wendy's is very good.

  5. Oh Chick-fil-A definitely! It's fresher, more consistent, and tastier. Plus, the experience is alway nice.

  6. I actually haven't tried Jack's Spicy Chicken yet(!). I've tried their value chicken though which reminds me of Tyson's. I'm sure the Spicy Chicken is different though.

  7. Yes I do like Jacks too...however, I prefer to eat it without the bun because then I can taste the spiciness to it.
