I don't know when or why thick cut fries became associated with steak but then again, I usually don't get fries with my steak.
Fat Fries are for those who prefer more potato flavor with their fries as well as more moist potato inside. They're fried so that they're slightly crisp on the outside. They're fairly standard as far as fries go but are very good and fried fresh. I especially liked that they were only very slightly salted making them prime for ketchup dipping. And yes, Fat Fries do have more grams of fat per serving than Skinny Fries.

Basically... steak-type fries, it appears.
ReplyDeleteBetter, in my opinion, than skinny wimpy fries.
I do prefer crinkle-cut style; a manly fry made for manly men with a manly appetite and a manly desire for the crinkle-cut's ridges and valley's ability to grab and hold onto that which the fry is dipped into.
Okay, so you must be gay.
