The pockets look kinda like a cheese version of egg tarts and the pizza isn't remarkably different from the Cheesy Bites Pizza save in shape. The pizza also bears more than a passing resemblance to the Crown Crust Pizza that's been making the rounds internationally.
The dough pockets are filled with a blend of five Italian cheeses: asiago, fontina, mozzarella, provolone, and white cheddar and are shaped into the chain's Hand-Tossed pizza dough.
According to Bloomberg Businessweek, if the pizza goes over well, Pizza Hut might build upon it as a platform by adding things like bacon to the cheese pockets.
You'll find a large, 1-topping Crazy Cheesy Crust Pizza at $12.99 on the Pizza Hut menu. Additional toppings will run you an extra $1 each or you can go for a specialty pizza for $3 more. If you don't find it cheesy enough, you can also go for extra cheese for $2 more.
