Here's how:
Go to In-N-Out... Just kidding!
It's pretty simple: you just have to ask. For the most part, most fast food restaurants are frying fries all the time. As long as you're willing to wait for the next batch, most places will accommodate you. One caveat though: even if they're freshly fried, if the oil they're fried in is due for a change, they're not going to turn out so great.
You can ask for them without salt, which is also good if you're trying to cut back on the sodium intake. Plus, you can always salt them yourself.
Something you might not know is that, like In-N-Out, McDonald's will also fry your fries "well done" if you ask. The resultant fries are extra crunchy, but a little on the dry side.
Yeah i do that all the time
ReplyDeletePointless update. If you want something, tell them. They can't just read your mind.
ReplyDeleteFast food restaurants really will do most anything if you ask. I often order my McDonald's fries with light salt if I'm not in a hurry; not to get fresh ones, although that is a perk, but because I find them to be far too salty.
ReplyDeletefast food places will most likely accommodate you(within reason) since they want your $$$$
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't want freshly cooked fries over ones sitting around for awhile?
