Arby's Leap Year Vegetarian Menu is More Like an April Fools' Joke

Arby's is offering the company's "first ever vegetarian menu" on Leap Day, February 29, 2016. Unfortunately for any vegetarians hoping for some sort of meat substitute, the menu's more like an early April Fools' joke.

Instead of any faux meat substitutes or sandwich with extra vegetables, the menu consists of everything on the regular Arby's menu minus the meat. For example, instead of a Roast Beef Sandwich, all you get is a toasted bun.

The promotion also is accompanied by the permanent return of the Loaded Italian Sandwich, which if you order vegetarian style includes melted cheese, banana peppers, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, red wine vinaigrette, and garlic aioli on a toasted Italian-style roll.

Apparently, if by some odd chance the menu does well, they'll "likely" bring it back every Leap Day.
