Pizza Hut Thinks a Few Lucky Fans Might Want to Eat a Gold Pizza

Pizza Hut looks to celebrate the golden anniversary (50 years) of the Super Bowl by offering the chance for a few lucky fans to win a golden pizza topped with close to $100 worth of edible 24-karat gold.

The gold-flecked pizza in question is the Golden Garlic Knots Pizza, which also highlights the chain's latest limited-time pizza, the Stuffed Garlic Knots Pizza, which features a crust embedded with cheese-stuffed garlic knots.

Pizza Hut will be giving away 50 of the golden versions of the pizza, along with a $100 Pizza Hut Gold Card, on this Sunday, February 7, 2016 (AKA Super Bowl Sunday). For whatever reason (logistical or legal perhaps), only residents (ages 18 or older) of Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana, and West Virginia, who order a Stuffed Garlic Knots Pizza this Sunday are entered to win. If you happen to live in those states, you can also enter by emailing a request to PR@PizzaHut.com.

You can see the golden pizza in all it's glory in the following video:

Personally, I'd rather get a $100 in gold rather than eat $100 in gold.
