Arby's Switches to Buttermilk for Crispy Chicken Sandwiches

Arby's updates their crispy chicken sandwiches with a new buttermilk breaded chicken breast filet that is featured in the new Buttermilk Buffalo Chicken Sandwich.

The new filet is larger than the previous version, which was "prime-cut" (although what that meant was never clear to me). The larger filet is marinated in buttermilk and coated in a sweet, savory buttermilk breading. It's meant to be crispier, juicier, and more tender than the previous chicken.

The new Buttermilk Buffalo Chicken Sandwich follows on the heels of the Buffalo Chicken Slider, which arrived earlier this year in May. The new sandwich features the same spicy Buffalo sauce along with parmesan peppercorn ranch dressing and shredded lettuce on a toasted star-top bun.

The new buttermilk filet can also be found on the Chicken Bacon Swiss, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and Crispy Chicken sandwich.

The suggested prices for the line up are as follows:

- Crispy Chicken Sandwich - $3.99
- Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - $4.49
- Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich - $4.99
- Chicken Bacon Swiss Sandwich - $4.99
