Review: Keebler - Birthday Cake Fudge Stripes Cookies

Keebler's Birthday Cake Fudge Stripes Cookies feature shortbread cookies embedded with confetti sprinkles and striped with vanilla-frosting flavored icing.

An 11.5-oz package cost me $2.99.

If you've tried Mother's brand Circus Animals cookies, these are very similar. The Birthday Cake Fudge Stripes differ a little in the icing and the fact that the sprinkles are embedded in the cookie rather than in the frosting/icing.

The icing here is creamier compared to Circus Animals but sports an otherwise similar flavor. It also appears to melt a little bit easier.

Despite the shortbread moniker, the cookies aren't buttery but offer the requisite crumbly quality and a nice vanilla flavor. The sprinkles add a notable crunch to the party.

Overall, Keebler's Birthday Cake Fudge Stripes Cookies are pretty nice, especially if you like frosting or vanilla sandwich-type cookies (or Mother's Circus Animals). I'd say it's "mission accomplished" as far as the birthday cake flavor goes.
