Bruegger's Features Korean Chili Paste in Latest New Sandwiches

Bruegger's features gochujang, a fermented Korean chili paste, for a limited time in two new sandwiches: the Seoul Sunrise Egg Sandwich and the Touch of Seoul Sandwich.

The Seoul Sunrise Egg Sandwich features a fresh-cracked egg, pork sausage, red and green bell peppers, and the chain's new Korean chili sauce (made from a blend of mayo and gochujang) on a toasted sesame bagel.

The Touch of Seoul Sandwich consists of ham, Swiss, sliced cucumbers, red bell peppers, and Korean chili sauce on butter toasted sourdough bread.

The bagel chain also returns a number of items for this spring including Sea Salt & Caramel Coffee, Cucumber Dill cream cheese, and Ranch bagels (flavored like ranch dressing).

Gochujang is seen by some as the next trending hot sauce. Much like chipotle and Sriracha sauces before it.

The seasonal spring menu items can be found at all Bruegger's Bagels locations through June 13, 2017.
