Review: Taco Bell - Loaded Taco Burrito

Taco Bell's Loaded Taco Burrito features a double portion of seasoned beef plus lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, crispy red tortilla strips, sour cream, and avocado ranch wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla.

I went and bought one for $1.49.

There aren't any surprises here as the Loaded Taco Burrito, as expected, tastes very familiar--like a Taco Supreme with much less crunch to it.

There's a good amount of seasoned beef to the burrito and a lot of flavor to go with it. With the addition of lettuce, tomato, and tortilla strips, the burrito felt fuller with a tighter wrap than similar burritos in the past.

The sour cream and avocado ranch weren't too heavy but the avocado note didn't really come through.

There was a minimal amount of tortilla overlap so that any tortilla-heavy bites were few and far between.

Overall, Taco Bell's Loaded Taco Burrito turned out rather well and made for enjoyable eating. It's like on the "taco" feel though. It might be odd to say but I found myself thinking I could use more tortilla chips and lettuce.
