McDonald's Introduces "Hotter, Juicier, and Tastier" Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, and Cheeseburgers in Australia

In a move that could portend future changes here in the US, McDonald's aims to upgrade their entire hamburger platform over in Australia by making changes to introduce "hotter, juicier, and tastier" Big Mac, Quarter Pounders, and Cheeseburgers.

The changes touch upon most of the burgers from the bun, to the beef, and even the cheese. The listed changes are as follows:

- "Softer, freshly toasted buns"
- "Perfectly melted cheese"
- "100% Aussie beef patties cooked in smaller batches"
- "Onions added at the grill for more flavor"
- More Big Mac special sauce on the Big Mac

At first glance, the changes seem like a slightly different take on what McDonald's did in the US with the fresh beef, made-to-order Quarter Pounders but the changes over in Australia seem like they would affect the chain's entire line of burgers to some extent (just like the Quarter Pounder change also affected other burgers that include a Quarter Pounder patty).

The onions at the grill seem like they could be interesting but the promise of more Big Mac special sauce is a bit of a head-scratcher for me as I've never come across a Big Mac and wished for more sauce.
