Subway Tests Fresh-Baked King's Hawaiian Bread

Subway looks into offering freshly-baked King's Hawaiian bread starting June 27, 2019, at over 300 restaurants.

The test marks the first time that King's Hawaiian's signature bread is being baked fresh by another brand. Rather than the standard 12-inch size, the bread will be offered in a new 8-inch size.

During the test period, which runs from June 27, 2019 through September 4, 2019, customers who visit select locations in the test markets (Champaign, Illinois; Reno, Nevada; and Richmond, Virginia), can order any sandwich "Aloha Style," which features the aforementioned King's Hawaiian bread along with a Deluxe portion of meat and double the cheese of a regular 6-inch sandwich.

The new bread option is also featured in two new subs during the promotion:

- New Turkey, Bacon & Provolone - Turkey, provolone cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo on 8" King’s Hawaiian bread.

- New Ham & Swiss - Ham, Swiss cheese, spinach, tomatoes, and mayo on 8" King’s Hawaiian bread.
