Del Taco Welcomes Back Crispy Jumbo Shrimp

Del Taco welcomes back Crispy Jumbo Shrimp for a limited time during the 2021 Lenten season.

While the Mexican fast food chain offers fish year round, it only sells shrimp on a seasonal basis around this time of year. Here's what you can expect from this year's selection:

- New Honey Mango Crispy Jumbo Shrimp Taco - Del Taco gives Crispy Jumbo Shrimp the same honey mango sauce they introduced last month, and serves them with shredded cabbage and pico de gallo in a warm flour tortilla. A lime wedge is also included. They're specially priced at two for $5 (may vary).

- Crispy Jumbo Shrimp Taco - Crispy Jumbo Shrimp, Del Taco’s savory secret sauce, shredded cabbage and pico de gallo, folded in a warm flour tortilla and served with a lime wedge. These are also two for $5.

- Crispy Jumbo Shrimp Burrito - Crispy Jumbo Shrimp, cilantro lime rice, shredded cabbage, savory secret sauce, and pico de gallo, wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla.

- New Epic Crispy Fish & Guac Burrito - Crispy beer battered Alaska Pollock, fresh romaine and iceberg lettuce blend, house-made guacamole, diced tomatoes, tortilla strips, and creamy avocado Caesar dressing, wrapped up in a warm, oversized flour tortilla.

The chain also continues to offer Beer Battered Crispy Fish Taco at 2 for $4. The taco features a wild-caught Alaska Pollock filet in a crispy beer batter, topped with shredded cabbage, savory secret sauce, and pico de gallo, folded in two warm corn tortillas and served with a lime wedge.

Finally, Del Taco has a few limited-time deals coming up that showcase the seasonal seafood items:

- From February 17 through 19, 2021, you can get a free small drink with the purchase of an Epic Crispy Fish & Guac Burrito at participating locations.

- From February 24 through 26, 2021, you can buy one Crispy Jumbo Shrimp Burrito and get a second one for free at participating locations.
