Krispy Kreme to Offer New Mars Donut for One Day on February 18, 2021

Krispy Kreme will be offering their new Mars Donut for one day only on Thursday, February 18, 2021 to commemorate NASA's Perseverance Rover making its landing on Mars on the same day.

The Mars Donuts is meant to look like Mars and features a Chocolate Kreme-filled donut dipped in caramel icing with a red planet swirl and sprinkle of chocolate cookie crumbs.

Besides carrying the first-ever helicopter to be deployed on the red planet (along with other tools to study the planet and collect samples), the Perseverance Rover is also carrying the names of almost 11 million people who participated in NASA's "Send Your Name to Mars" program. If you happen to be one of those people, you can get a free Mars Donut on February 18th by showing your NASA-issued Mars 2020 Perseverance "boarding pass."
