Review: Burger King - Bacon Cheddar Ranch Tendercrisp

Available for a limited-time, Burger King's Bacon Cheddar Ranch Tendercrisp ups the flavor (and the salt) on BK's Tendercrisp Chicken Sandwich with the addition of bacon, onions, cheddar cheese, and a cheddar ranch sauce.

The price on the "BCR" Tendercrisp at my local Burger King was $4.59.

I've stated before that I thought the Tendercrisp Chicken filet could use a little bit more seasoning/flavor and the Bacon Cheddar Ranch version remedies that. Like the last time, the chicken was crispy and of a good size.
I especially liked the cheddar ranch sauce which was thick rather than watery and carried with it a strong ranch flavor. I didn't really taste any cheddar in the sauce though.

There was plenty of cheddar, bacon, and onions which each imparted a good amount of flavor. The cheese wasn't weak like some fast food cheddars. The bacon on this occasion was crispy and suitably smoky. And the onions were plentiful and crisp.
All-in-all, it made for pretty enjoyable eats and I liked it a bit better than the default Tendercrisp.
