The price is pretty standard as well at $4.29 (may vary).
I liked this one. To start, there was a very good chicken to bun ratio with a nice, thick, juicy chicken fillet. Plenty of chicken in every bite!
The breading was a thick layer with good seasoning, a nice texture, and a very nice crunch.
The bun was the standard Carl's Jr. sesame seed bun which is a pretty solid bun. Not squishy soft but is denser and holds up well with a good toasting.
Mayo was actually used in moderation and less so than in the product shot which I appreciated. A little mayo goes a long way. The lettuce and tomatoes were relatively fresh and crisp.
The Hand-Breaded Chicken Fillet Sandwich is very good overall and a quality fast food offering.

I know a guy who likes to eat frozen chicken nuggets. He calls them chicksickles. I call him nuts. But to each his own I guess.
ReplyDeletei had this and the chicken wasnt even cooked all the way
ReplyDeleteLooks good, but how does it stack up to CFA? To me, that is perfection in between a bun.
ReplyDeleteI had a coupon to buy one and get one free. First one was fine, the second one wasn't fully cooked and gave me food poisoning. I would honestly rather have the old frozen-microwaved chicken than risk getting food poisoning again.
ReplyDeletethat looks like a pretty good chicken sandwich!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. The comments about the ones that weren't fully cooked are a little unsettling though. Hopefully those people just have bad franchises, no offense to them or anything lol.
ReplyDeleteyou ever though that maybe, maayyybeee i like eating my chicken raw?

ReplyDeleteQ, I love the fact that you do a lot of product reviews. Its the reason i check this site 3 to 4 times a day. Not just write a post about a product and then we never hear about it again. If only my other favorite fast food site Grubgrade could get back to doin that.
