Frozen Friday: Lean Cuisine - Five Cheese Rigatoni

Lean Cuisine's Five Cheese Rigatoni frozen meal is a simple dish of rigatoni pasta in tomato sauce topped with a 5 cheese blend.

It retails for $3.29 at my local Albertson's.

The five cheeses here are mozzarella, Monterey Jack, Parmesan, Romano, and Asiago. They kinda blend all together with the sauce making for a creamy, sweet tomato sauce to accompany the rigatoni.

The pasta came out tender and sported ridges that wicked up the sauce well (although it may have had some help from the five cheeses).

There's a nice bit of cheesy tomato-y flavor to be had and some nice gooey stretch from the melted mozzarella. It didn't seem like much, but it was pretty good!

As long as you don't mind the lack of meat, Lean Cuisine's Five Cheese Rigatoni makes for some pretty good eats.
