News: Kettle Brand - Limited Batch 30th Birthday Collection

Kettle Brand Chips returns four of their retired flavors for a limited time to celebrate 30 years of making kettle-cooked potato chips. Dubbed the "Limited Batch Birthday Collection," the flavors include: Red Chili, Jalapeno Jack, Salsa with Mesquite, and Cheddar Beer.

Red Chili first appeared in 1982 and offers the flavor of Sriracha sauce combined with a vinegar tang and Cayenne pepper for extra heat.

Jalapeño Jack took the stage in 1989 and brings a Jack cheese base mixed with the spice of red and green peppers and a strong jalapeño flavor.

Salsa with Mesquite took to shelves in 1999 and features tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, garlic, and lime.

Cheddar Beer started as a fan pick in 2005 with the taste tangy sharp cheese and malty beer.

The collection will debut on store shelves in August and make a run of about a year before they disappear form shelves next summer. If you're impatient, you can purchase them online now at BuyKettleChips.com.

The four flavors come in 5-ounce bags retailing for $2.79. Jalapeño Jack and Red Chili will also release in 8.5-ounce bags and retail for $3.49 this fall.
