Starbucks Adds PB&J and Sriracha to the Menu

Starbucks adds a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to the menu as part of a new Bistro Box. They've also added new sriracha in packets that you can add to any of their food items.

The Peanut Butter and Jelly Bistro Box includes peanut butter and strawberry jam on wheat bread and also comes with mozzarella string cheese, vegetables, Greek yogurt ranch dip, apples, and milk chocolate-covered raisins. It sounds very much like a lunch you'd pack from home for your kid, so maybe it's a kid-friendly option for when you're in a rush or feeling nostalgic. It's decidedly mundane for a brand that likes to position itself as an "affordable luxury."

The new spicy sriracha sauce is available at participating Starbucks stores and come complimentary with the purchase of any food item (which means you can fix yourself a peanut butter, sriracha, and jelly sandwich if so inclined).
