KFC Romania Offers Garlic Sauce to the World for Halloween

Playing on the Dracula / Transylvania angle for Halloween, KFC Romania offers to save the world from vampires with their garlic sauce, which they're making available in several countries in limited quantities for the holiday.

Here in the US, you might be saved if you happen to live near Yum brand (which runs KFC as well as Taco Bell and Pizza Hut) headquarters in Plano, TX as that's the location that will be handing out the vampire-repelling garlic sauce (You might wish to call ahead to check as supplies are limited). The address is:

7100 Corporate Drive, Plano, Texas 75024

Other countries that are participating in the promotion include Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, and the United Kingdom. You can find a list of participating locations worldwide at www.kfc.ro/halloween.

The chain serves garlic sauce year round in Romania.

Here's the TV spot for the offer:

The fine print / disclaimer is interesting for this one:

"*The Romanian Garlic Sauce is meant for promotional purpose only. Although Romanians eat it, it might not have been approved for consumption by food regulation authorities outside the country. Even if we do believe it will harm only vampires, those who ingest the product are fully responsible for the consequences."
