Taco Bell Tests New Crispy Dipping Burritos

Taco Bell is trialing new Crispy Dipping Burritos, which very much look like chimichangas, in the Minneapolis, MN market area.

The test item features seasoned beef and cheese rolled inside of a tortilla and deep fried.

They're being offered at two for $2.99 and come with a choice of dipping sauce (nacho cheese, reduced fat sour cream, and guacamole).

A $5 Box is also being sold and includes two Crispy Dipping Burritos, a Crunch Tacos, a Doritos Locos Taco, and a medium drink.

The new item might remind some of you of the Rolled Chicken Tacos that the chain served up in the past. Key differences include a wider and shorter form factor, closed ends (the Rolled Chicken Tacos were open at the ends), and, of course, a filling of beef and cheese rather than chicken.
