Review: 7-Eleven - Pillsbury Stuffed Waffle

7-Eleven's Pillsbury Stuffed Waffle features crispy, maple-flavored waffle shell with a filling of egg omelet, pork sausage, and cheddar cheese.

I paid $2.49 for one.

The thing about getting something from 7-Eleven's hot display is that sometimes it's hot and sometimes it's lukewarm. Unfortunately, the Stuffed Waffle was lukewarm but actually heated up rather nicely in the microwave. The shell managed to keep some crispiness.

Biting into it, the waffle had just the slightest touch of flakiness and an enjoyable maple flavor without being overly sweet.

The egg omelet was moist with a light smooth texture. While the cheddar didn't melt so well, it offered a strong flavor. The sausage wasn't all that distinctive in terms of seasoning but was meaty and fairly thick.

Overally, 7-Eleven's Pillsbury Stuffed Waffle turned out really well. The waffle shell was tasty with a nice combination of soft and crispy, while the filling was well-balanced and generous.
