Del Monte Introduces Fruit with Popping Boba

Del Monte looks to liven up the classic fruit cup by adding popping boba to the mix and calling it "Bubble Fruit."

Popping boba are spherical gel shells filled with flavored water or juice. They "pop" when you bite into them or squish them. They're mostly found in some tea shops and frozen yogurt shops.

Bubble Fruit comes in three flavors: Peach Strawberry Lemonade, Sour Apple Watermelon, and Pear Berry Pomegranate. It does not contain artificial colors or artificial sweeteners and is good for a serving of fruit per 4-oz cup.

Peach Strawberry Lemonade features peaches and popping boba with strawberry lemonade-flavored, sweetened juice.

Sour Apple Watermelon includes apples and popping boba with sour apple- and watermelon-flavored, sweetened juice.

Pear Berry Pomegranate consists of pear and popping boba with berry- and pomegranate-flavored, sweetened juice.

Bubble Fruit has started to roll-out nationwide and can be found at a number of retailers, including Walmart, Target, Kroger, Ahold and SUPERVALU. It comes in four-packs of 4-oz cups.
