McDonald's Celebrates 40 Years of Happy Meals By Bringing Back Some of the Most Popular Happy Meal Toys for Four Days

McDonald's celebrates the 40th anniversary of their Happy Meals by launching Surprise Happy Meals, each containing one toy from a selection of their most popular Happy Meal toys throughout the years.Unfortunately, they'll only be available for four days at participating restaurants starting Thursday, November 7, 2019 thorough Monday, November 11, 2019, while supplies last.

The special very-limited-time offering will be available in over 90 countries around the world.

The line up for the US includes two exclusive toys plus 15 others. They are:

- Cowboy McNugget (1988)
- Fireman McNugget (1988)
- Mail Carrier McNugget (1988)
- Hamburger Changeable (1989)
- Grimace (1990)
- Dino Happy Meal Box Changeable (1991)
- McDonald's Hot Wheels Thunderbird (1993)
- Hamburglar (1995)
- Power Rangers (1995)
- Space Jam Bugs Bunny (1996)
- Patti the Platypus Beanie Baby (1997)
- 101 Dalmatians - US Exclusive (1997)
- Tamagotchi (1998)
- My Little Pony (1998)
- Furby (1999)
- Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey - US Exclusive (2002)
- Hello Kitty (2013)

McDonald's Happy Meal was first introduced in June 1979 here in the US as the Circus Wagon Happy Meal. Early Happy Meal toys included a spinning top and McDonaldland character erasers.
