The new BLT (that's for "Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato") is purported to offer the taste of a BLT sandwich in a Lay's potato chip. I get the bacon and tomato flavors but how are they going to incorporate the taste of lettuce in a chip?
The new chips are available in three sizes: a 1.9 oz. bag for a suggested retail price of $1.09; a 2.9 oz. bag for a suggested retail price of $1.49; and a 10 oz. bag for a suggested retail price of $4.29.
You can find them using Frito Lay's Product Locator.

Ive had these and I am not a fan. To me they just have some vague bacon flavor. I got these hoping they would be similar to the cheeseburger doritos. I was disappointed.
ReplyDeleteI've had them also and also not a fan. I have to admit they did get all the flavors, especially the lettuce, but it was too weird and not really good. We ended up throwing away the bag with maybe 4 chips missing.
ReplyDeleteI just bought these tonight and am disappointed. It tastes vaguely like stale bacon, tomato, and a sour cream-type flavor. I won't be buying another bag. (I'm surprised they failed on the bacon flavoring, because it's so winsome with the loaded potato chips.)
ReplyDeleteI had these last week and I liked them. I think they taste like a smoked turkey sandwich with mayonnaise. Nothing like a BLT at all, which I considered a plus since I don't like lettuce or tomato.
