News: New Ruffles Flavors: Smokehouse BBQ and Bacon & Cheddar Potato Skins

Frito Lay debuts two new Ruffles potato chip flavors this Spring: Smokehouse Style BBQ and Loaded Bacon & Cheddar Potato Skins.

The premise is that since it takes a while to make both dishes, the new Ruffles flavors can serve as a lazy man's substitute.

The flavor of Smokehouse Style BBQ is described as "dry-rub style barbecue flavor in every bite." Loaded Bacon & Cheddar Potato Skins Ruffles "offer the great taste of potato skins piled high with ingredients" which, if the picture is any indication, means cheddar, bacon, sour cream, and chives.

You can find where you can buy these locally using Frito Lay's Snack Locator.

  1. Ruffles have ridges.

    Or they don't.

  2. I thought the loaded bacon & cheddar tasted like a mix of the cheddar/sour cream ruffles and a smoky bbq flavor.  Didn't really taste any bacon.  Cheddar & sour cream is definitely still my fave.
