Pei Wei Debuts Three New Asian Chicken Wing Flavors

Pei Wei looks to capitalize on popularity of chicken wings during the upcoming Super Bowl with the debut of three new Asian chicken wing flavors.

The flavors are:

- Szechuan Spice - Crispy-fried chicken wings wok-tossed in a Szechuan spice dry rub along with ginger, garlic, and scallions. They come garnished with cilantro and a lime wedge.

- Honey Sriracha - Crispy-fried chicken wings wok-tossed in a sweet and spicy honey Sriracha sauce and then finished with sesame seeds and green scallions.

- Thai Sweet Chili - Crispy-fried chicken wings wok-tossed in Thai sweet chile sauce with lemongrass, mint, ginger, garlic, and fresno chiles.

An order of six wings goes for $6.49 (may vary).

The National Chicken Council projects that Americans will eat 1.33 billion chicken wings on Super Bowl Sunday this year (Sunday, February 5, 2017) with about 75% of those wings coming from restaurants, fast food or otherwise.
