Here they are:
1. Quesalupa (review) - Given the marketing push and buzz around the cheese-filled Chalupa-like shell, it's not a big surprise to find that the Quesalupa took the #1 spot. I liked these but the consistency was spotty regarding the gimmicky shell.
2. Triple Double Crunchwrap (review) - They basically took the Crunchwrap Supreme and gave you more of it. That's good enough for #2.
3. $5 Cravings Deal - Rather than a limited-time item, this is a limited-time combo that they still offer. For $5, you get a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Burrito Supreme, Crunchy Taco, Chips and Cheese, and medium drink. Going by regular menu prices, it would cost over $10 (may vary) to buy the items separately. I have a hard time passing on this when I go to Taco Bell as the Cheesy Gordita Crunch and Crunchy Taco are among my favorite menu items.
4. Rolled Chicken Taco (review) - A returning menu item for 2016, these are basically taquitos by another name, which is fine by me.
5. Crunchwrap Sliders (review) - Another returning item that got a new Sriracha version at the beginning of 2016, these offered a nice bit of variety at the $1 price point.
Looking forward, don't be surprised if you find Cheetos Burritos and Fritos Tacos on the 2017 list.
