The freebie comes about as a 16th seed men's college basketball team beat a 1st seed team in the first round of this year's NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament (a first in the history of the tournament) last Friday. Little Caesars promised a free lunch if any 16th seed beat a 1st seed in the tourney.
The Hot-N-Ready Lunch Combo includes four slices of Detroit-style Deep Deep Dish Pizza and a 20-oz beverage. It normally goes for $5.
