Review: Krispy Kreme - Reese's Egg Donut

Krispy Kreme's Reese's Egg Donut is a yeast shell donut dipped in chocolate icing, decorated likean Easter egg, and filled with peanut butter Kreme.

You can get one for $1.29 (may vary) but I received this courtesy of Krispy Kreme.

For the most part, the Reese's Egg Donut is the chain's Reese's Peanut Butter Donut decorated for Easter. There are some slight differences that actually make it taste a little different.

One is that there is no chocolate or peanut butter drizzle on the Easter version and it tastes a little less sweet as a result.

The second is that there are no mini peanut butter chips which also makes the donut just a tad less sugary and plays up the roasted peanuts instead.

Beyond that you get the same delectable sweet, creamy, and peanut buttery creme and a soft yeast donut shell.

Overall, I ended up liking the Reese's Egg Donut slightly better than the original Reese's Peanut Butter Donut because it was less sweet and a bit more nutty.
