Subway Rolls Out New Signature Wraps Nationally

Subway adds wraps to the menu with the national arrival of new Signature Wraps.

The wraps feature the same amount of meat as a Footlong sub but with a size that falls somewhere between that and a 6-inch sub.

The wraps come in three varieties:

- Chipotle Southwest Steak & Cheese - Steak, shredded Monterey and cheddar cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, jalapenos, guacamole, and spicy Chipotle Southwest sauce wrapped in a Tomato Basil wrap.

- Turkey, Bacon & Guacamole - Turkey breast, bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions,  guacamole, and ranch in a Tomato Basil wrap.

- Savory Rotisserie-Style Chicken Caesar - Rotisserie-Style Chicken, shredded Monterey and cheddar cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, and Savory Caesar sauce in a Spinach wrap.

Like the chain's subs, you can have your Signature Wrap customized with various veggies, cheese, and condiments. You can also get any of the chain's subs wrapped up in either a Tomato Basil or Spinach wrap.

The wraps were initially tested in Maine starting about two years ago and then in select markets across the US (including here in Southern California). It looks like the spicy Habanero wrap didn't make the cut.

You can expect the wraps to cost $6.99 each (may vary).
