According to the brand, the Minis are made with "a special blend of doughs to get a soft bun-like texture."
Skippy P.B. & Jelly Minis come in three varieties:
- Creamy peanut butter and grape jelly with white bakery bread
- Creamy peanut butter and strawberry jelly with white bakery bread
- Natural Creamy peanut butter spread and grape jelly with whole grain bakery bread
Selling points include 7 grams of protein per serving and no high-fructose corn syrup. The idea is you can pack these frozen in the morning and eat them by mid-morning or later.
The peanut butter and jelly snacks consist of three pieces per 2-oz serving and can be found in 4- and 10-count boxes with a suggested price of $3.29 to $3.48 and $6.99 to $7.49, respectively. They're starting to appear at retailers nationwide.
